Can I get a style made in a metal that is not listed?
Yes, definitely! All jewels can be made in different metals.
Gold prices fluctuate regularly. Due to this I offer quotes on enquiry to make sure you're getting the most accurate and fair price.
Metal alloys available are:
Sterling silver
Gold-plated silver
9ct, 14ct, or 18ct gold (yellow, rose, or red)
Platinum
Just send me a message if you'd like a no-pressure quote.
What is the difference between customised and bespoke?
All existing pieces in the Customisable section can be tailored to suit your vision. This might include alternative gemstones, different findings (e.g. hoops instead of hooks), or casting in a metal not currently listed. If you’ve got something in mind, just get in touch and I’ll do my best to bring it to life.
Bespoke pieces are created from scratch and are uniquely yours. While they may be inspired by existing designs, the process is more collaborative and involved. For a deeper look at what goes into a bespoke piece, visit the bespoke page + process page.
Can I order a single earring?
Yes! Mixing and matching earrings is a favourite of mine. Get in touch with the style you are after and I will send out a quote.
Can you work with existing metal and stones?
I am open to working with gemstones and metal you provide, but there are a few important things to consider.
Metal will be melted down and credited towards your custom piece (please note that the metal used in the final piece will not be the same as what is provided).
Gemstones must be removed from their original setting prior to sending them to me.
There is always risk in the setting process so I may not accept fragile or damaged gemstones. While I take the utmost care, in the unlikely event the gemstone is damaged I will do my best to find a suitable replacement.
For particularly valuable or delicate stones, I may outsource setting to a trained diamond setter for precision and safety.
Are materials ethically sourced?
I work with trusted gemstone suppliers across Aotearoa, Australia, and Asia - chosen for their reliability and ethical guarantees.
The foundry used for casting is committed to sustainable and ethical practices. They are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and integrate ethical, human rights, social, and environmental considerations into their operations.
